Not everyone has the courage to risk their lives for others, neither do all get such chance but a fire marshal does. Well, fire marshal is a member of fire department of a particular country. His /her duty varies from place to place which mainly includes fire code enforcement and investing fires for origin and cause. They are also called as fire fighters. Fire marshals carry a weapon, wear badge and arrest people who illegally put fire with a bad intention causing harm to others. In countries like America, fire warden provide services like incident reporting, data collection, code review, construction fire plan safety, fireworks and supervision of sprinkler installation.

Being a fire marshal requires extensive education and training and a track record as a deputy fire marshal. Such courses are provided by various organizations which include revision of the role of a fire marshal, liaison with the fire service, action on discovering a fire, fire safety legislation, the chemistry of fire, common causes of fire, fire safety precautions, fire drills and evacuation and usage of fire extinguishers. Plus practical sessions are also given during the course regarding fire action routines, use of water, carbon-dioxide and foam extinguishers on real fire, demonstration of fire blanket etc. Proper certificates are given to all who fairly attend it approved by the institute of fire engineers.
